Whether from the recent past or from generations before, ensuring that your family photo collection is ready for the digital age is an important task. At Allegheny Archives & Media, we will treat your photos as if they were our own family heirlooms. 

So, how do you get started?

Contact us! Our email is alleghenyarchivesmedia@gmail.com. We are attached to our phones and will respond to your email quickly. Tell us what you'd like us to digitize for you.

We can pick up your photos if you live in: Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Washington or Westmoreland counties.

Don't live in one of these counties? No worries! You can send your photos to us via mail, or you can still contact us and we can pick up your photos for an added fee!

What do we do with your photos?

When we are in possession of your photos, we will scan every item and document given to us. Your photos will be kept in a safe environment and the time it takes to digitize them will vary on the size of your collection. 

After we have scanned everything in your collection, we will place the JPEG files onto USB flash drives. Each order receives two flash drives with your digitized photos. Extra flash drives come at an additional fee. 

What happens when we're done?

We will contact you throughout the process to let you know how it is going. When we're done, we'll set up a time when we can drop off your collection and the two flash drives!

Prices

10 cents per photo scanned. Payment is due when the photos are picked up.

Please email a photo of your collection to get a more accurate quote.

Each order will receive one USB flash drive with their digitized images. Additional flash drives are $5.
