Where are you located?

I work out of my home in Cranberry Township, PA and appreciate drop-offs. Please schedule a time to drop off with me before stopping over.

What if I cannot drive or get to your location?

Depending on where you are located, I can pick up your items. I am routinely in the downtown Pittsburgh area during the week and can pick up in that area. If you live farther out and don’t want to mail, I’ll usually be open to meeting halfway, or adding a travel fee if you’d prefer I drive all the way to you.

What is the process?

First, you will need to get in touch with me to arrange a time to drop off your items.

Next, I will digitize your items (scan photos, transfer tapes/reels using software and equipment). I then place the digital files onto a flash drive and return it to you along with your items.

Why are your prices so low?

I believe digitizing family collections should be affordable and accessible to all. As you may know, larger companies charge a lot more - so much more that some forgo getting their materials digitized all together. I also have a full-time job and two children, so the prices are also low to show my appreciation for your patience.

How long is it going to take?

The length of time it takes to process everything is greatly depended on the size of the collection. Generally, 25 tapes is about 2-3 weeks if there’s not many orders already in the queue. Two photo albums will generally take me about the same time. I will do my best to meet the timeframe that I’ve told you. However, with a full time job and two young children, I often get delayed in processing media.

Do I provide the flash drive or do you?

I provide the first flash drive for free. If you would like me to make you more flash drives, I just ask for retail price ($5-$20). For larger orders that require external hard drives, I will add the retail price of the drive to your final invoice.

Can I mail my items to you?

Yes, you can! Mailing is, understandably, a bit nerve-racking for some, but if you’re willing to mail then so am I. Please address packages to:

Yes. I have done work for businesses, non-profits, law firms, and more. Notable clients include Eat N’ Park, PPG, Mountain Watershed, Tull Family Theater (now Lindsay Theater), and more.

Are you insured?

Yes, I am! I can provide a Certificate of Insurance upon request.
