Hard copy photographs fade over time and show their age with folds, scratches, and other wears and tears of lasting through the years.  

So, how do you get started?

Contact us! Our email is alleghenyarchivesmedia@gmail.com. We are attached to our phones and will respond to your email quickly. Tell us what you'd like us to digitize for you.

We can pick up your photos if you live in: Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Washington or Westmoreland counties.

Don't live in one of these counties? No worries! You can send your photos to us via mail, or you can still contact us and we can pick up your photos for an added fee!

If you already have the photo scanned and in your computer, then send it to our email! 

What do we do with your photos?

When we are in possession of your photos, we will scan every item and document given to us. Your photos will be kept in a safe environment and the time it takes to digitize/retouch them will vary on the number of photos and the severity of damage. 

After we have scanned everything in your collection, we can either email you the retouched photo or put it on a USB flash drive/CD. 

What happens when we're done?

We will contact you throughout the process to let you know how it is going. If you have loaned us the original photo(s), we'll coordinate a time with you to drop off the photo and a digital copy.

Prices

Prices for this service vary depending on the number of photos and the severity of damage that has occurred to them. Therefore, prices will be given on a case to case basis.
