Photos

A few different types of scanners are used to digitize photos depending on their condition, size, and format.

Photos that are loose are easiest since they require no preparation.

Photos that are in album sleeves and that can be easily removed, will be taken out, scanned in order, and placed back in their sleeves. Depending on the size of the collection, a processing fee may apply if you want the photos returned to their original places

Photos that are stuck to an album page are not removed to prevent damage to the photograph.

If there is writing on the back of photos, it will be scanned and does not count towards the final total.

Oversized photos (larger than 11×14) are welcome and are priced depending on size.

Organization of photos are based on the labels on boxes, albums, photo piles, etc.

The main folder will be named Photos, with subfolders according to the album labels (ex: 1998, 2003 Christmas, 1976 Beach Vacation, etc). Within those subfolders will be the scanned photos from that album (ex: Scan 01, Scan 02, etc). Unlabeled groups will be named Customer Initials 01 (ex GS 01, GS 02, etc).
